One of IBB’s former members, Renate Sachse, has been awarded the 2022 Bertha Benz Prize for her dissertation „Variational Motion Design for Adaptive Structures“. The endowed prize by the Daimler and Benz Foundation is valued at 10,000.- € and it is awarded every year to female engineers with outstanding dissertations.
