The goal of the German Association for Computational Mechanics (GACM) is to network researchers in the field of computational mechanics. Every two years, for example, the Colloquium on Computational Mechanics for Young Scientists from Academia and Industry takes place, where PhD students, post-docs and young professors present the results of their current research projects in the field of modeling and simulation of mechanical phenomena.
The new GACM movie provides exciting insights into the large field of computational engineering, which is composed of the disciplines of engineering, mathematics and computer science.
