The IBB is organizing the seminar „FE im Schnee“ in Hirschegg, Austria, this year due to the pandemic as „FE ohne Schnee“ in summer.
The seminar „FE im Schnee“ (FE in the snow) has been held approximately every two years in winter in the Söllerhaus in Kleinwalsertal since 1985. It was initiated by Prof. Ramm, Prof. Stein and Prof. Wunderlich. The aim is to maintain contact between the staff of the participating research groups and to exchange information about the status of current research projects. About 40 employees from different chairs and institutes in the field of (structural) mechanics from Germany and Austria are participating.
